Gaby D'Alessandro is a Dominican illustrator who graduated from Altos de Chavón and Parsons School for Design. She lived in NYC for fifteen years and recently moved to Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. She enjoys making dreamlike images filled with nature, detail, and symbolism. She has created artwork for the Library of Congress, Target, New York City's MTA, the New York Times, the Botanical Garden of Padua, and the American Museum of Natural History. About Us: ART MAKER Magazine is a new international publication dedicated to showcasing compelling contemporary art from across all disciplines ages 18 and older. Our mission is to connect artists with international collectors, galleries, and each other through a beautifully designed print and digital magazine, social media features, and our growing Community.
Important info:
- Applications are open to artists 18 years of age or older, worldwide. We will collect your birth date to verify age, but will not publish it.
- Accepted applicants will receive a complimentary digital copy of the Magazine and a discount code for ordering or pre-ordering their physical copy of ART MAKER Magazine.
- All images must be 300dpi, clear and well-lit. Blurry or lo-res images will not be accepted.
- By applying, applicants testify that all artwork is original and that they are the copyright owners.
- Commercial artwork submissions are welcome as long as the applicant has permission and / or copyright ownership.
- All applicants are required to submit an artist statement or bio
- Applications missing required items will not be accepted.
Submission Fee
- $25 for up to 10 images (non-refundable)
- Submission fees are used to compensate our admin and editorial staff and support our mission to connect artists with collectors, galleries, and eachother!
There are no additional publication fees if selected. Selected artists will be able to review their layout prior to print. Selected artists will receive a complimentary digital copy of the magazine.
